Low temperatures tonight will bottom out in the 40s and 50s with continued chances for showers and thunderstorms across the east. Patchy fog will also be possible.
Patchy fog will blanket the eastern part of the forecast area Thursday morning. Temperatures will warm to above normal by late week. A cold front will bring strong west to northwest winds and much drier conditions into the region on Sunday. The windy and dry conditions could enhance the spread of fires.
