Redevelopment Activity
A number of office, commercial and residential redevelopment efforts are underway in the vicinity of the Canal.
Recently, 700 units of residential housing was constructed on three parcels totaling 3.4 acres. Before they were redeveloped, these parcels, which were potential sources of contamination to the Canal, were cleaned up by the developer.
