More than 8 million children in Indonesia suffer from stunted growth. MCC is investing $134.2 million to reduce stunting in 11 of Indonesia's 34 provinces with integrated sanitation, maternal and child health, and nutrition interventions.
As part of the $437 million Niger Compact, MCC will invest in building the country’s statistical capacity, which will help the Government of Niger better use agricultural data to achieve and measure progress toward the Sustainable Development Goals.
MCC works with partner countries around the world to transform the lives of children and their families by investing in projects that help people lift themselves out of poverty – in areas like education, health services and infrastructure.
