Planning & Performance Management

The Office of Marine and Aviation Operations (OMAO)'s Planning and Performance Management Division serves as the primary service provider for strategic planning and performance management. The division provides an enterprise focused planning organization that is able to coordinate strategic and operational planning, provide governance and support for rigorous maintenance and communication of enterprise performance measures, and manage high priority projects. The division delivers value to OMAO by:

  • Serving as the coordinator of strategic and operational planning, and verifying that short-term operational activities are in line with strategic objectives;
  • promoting an organization that works together by spreading awareness and buy-in of OMAO’s long-term vision and coordinating and supporting special projects that improve organizational efficiency; and
  • facilitating and monitoring clear, documented, and transparent corporate performance measures and reporting on organizational health.
