Volunteer at Lake Barkley

Volunteers play an integral role in the management plan for the land and water resources of Lake Barkley.  Volunteer services include shoreline clean up and building fish attractors.

Scouting organizations provide service through the construction and placement of wood duck and blue bird nesting boxes, and beautification of the lakeshore by helping with lakeshore clean up.

Volunteer Campground Hosts staff the campground park attendant booths when the regular attendants are off duty.  They provide general information to campers, and campfire programs.

For more information contact the Lake Barkley Volunteer coordinator,
David Landis, at (270) 362-4236.
