How to enable JavaScript for my browser

Please select your browser below to expand the step by step instructions to enable JavaScript:

  1. Open the browser and select Tools from the menu bar. (Drop-down menu displays)
  2. Select Internet Options from the drop-down menu. (Internet Options window opens)
  3. Select the Security tab of the Internet Options window.
  4. Select the Custom Level button of the Security tab. (Security Settings window opens)
  5. Scroll towards the bottom of the list and locate the Scripting section.
  6. Select the Enable button under the Active Scripting setting.
  7. Select the OK button of the Security Settings window. (Security Settings window closes)
  8. Select the OK button of the Internet Options Security tab window. (Internet Options window closes)
  9. Select the Refresh button of your browser.

  1. Open the browser, and type about:config in the address bar.
  2. Press Enter on your keyboard. (This might void your warranty! warning message displays)
  3. Select the "I'll be careful, I promise!" button.
  4. In the Search bar, search for javascript.enabled (An entry with the Preference Name javascript.enabled displays)
  5. Select the entry for javascript.enabled
  6. Press Enter on your keyboard or alternatively right-click on the javascript.enabled entry and select Toggle. (The Value field changes from false to true)
  7. Select the Reload current page icon in the address bar to refresh your browser.

  1. Open the browser and select Customize and control Google Chrome (the icon with 3 stacked horizontal lines) to the right of the address bar. (Drop-down menu displays)
  2. Select Settings from the drop-down menu.
  3. Select the Show advanced settings link at the bottom of the page.
  4. Select the Content settings button under the Privacy section. (Content Settings window opens)
  5. Select the Allow all sites to run JavaScript radio button under the JavaScript section.
  6. Select the Done button of the Content settings window. (Content Settings window closes)
  7. Select the Reload this page button near the address bar to refresh your browser.

  1. Open the browser and select Safari from Apple/System bar.
  2. Select Preferences from the drop-down menu. (Window opens)
  3. Select the Security icon/tab at the top of the window.
  4. Select the Enable JavaScript checkbox under the Web content section.
  5. Select the Close button (the red circle) on the top left hand corner. (Window closes)
  6. Select the Reload this page button near the address bar to refresh your browser.
