OMAHA, NE - B-Y Excavating, Inc. of Nebraska City, Nebraska has been awarded a maintenance construction contract for work at Salt Creek Site 12 - Conestoga Lake near Lincoln, Nebraska. 

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District awarded the $294,000 for the project that began this week.

The project consists of constructing a conduit seepage filter around the Salt Creek Site 12 outlet works conduit and is scheduled for completion before the completion of the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission Aquatic Habitat Rehabilitation Contract.

Salt Creek Site 12 - Conestoga Lake is a dam and reservoir constructed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to reduce flooding risks along Salt Creek and provide a recreation area through the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission.
