Course Overview

Course is designed to train the FEMA 452 Risk Assessment and FEMA 455 Rapid Visual Screening for Buildings components of the Building Design for Homeland Security course.

Course Objectives:

Students will learn how to prepare risk assessments using the database, including how to download and install the database, conduct FEMA 452 based assessments, conduct FEMA 455 based Rapid Visual Screenings (RVS), and perform assessment program management and system administrative functions.

Building sciences and design professionals community (architects, engineers, security personnel, and facility planners) working for private institutions. Building owners/operators/managers working for public and private institutions. COOP community
