2017 NWPs Issuance and Reissuance of all 50 nationwide permits (NWPs) - 1/9/2017: On January 6, 2017, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Corps) published the notice in the Federal Register announcing the reissuance of all 50 existing nationwide permits (NWPs), general conditions, and definitions with some modifications. The Corps also issued two new NWPs, one new general condition, and five new definitions. The 2017 NWPs will go into effect on March 19, 2017, and will expire on March 18, 2022.

NWO-2016-1874-BIS - 9/7/2016: The USACE, North Dakota Regulatory Office, approved the Ducks Unlimited, Inc. North Dakota Aquatic Resource In-Lieu Fee Program Instrument on March 4, 2014. The Program is used to satisfy compensatory mitigation requirements for DA permits issued under Section 404 of the Clean Water Act and Section 10 of the Rivers and Harbors Act. DU is seeking approval of the Site Plan for the Beaver Bay Mitigation Site, which will provide wetland compensation credits in the Southwest Slope RSA. The Site is located 9.5 miles north and 1 mile west of Zap, North Dakota in Mercer County. [Lat: 47.432979°N Long: -101.955753°W]

Minimum Standards for Aquatic Resources Delineations - 8/18/2016: The US Army Corps of Engineers, North Dakota Regulatory Office, has established minimum standards for delineation reports to incure consistency and accuracy in the delineation of aquatic resources. Delineations submitted for verification must follow the standards, unless determined to not be practical, which will be determined on a case-by-case basis. These standards are effective immediately.
