The Northwest Fisheries Science Center provides excellent career training opportunities at its headquarters in Seattle, WA and at five research stations throughout Washington and Oregon.

High school, undergraduate, and graduate student interns have the opportunity to meet and work with professional scientists and staff; gain "hands on" experience and knowledge; and learn skills in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and other disciplines critical to NOAA Fisheries mission.

Opportunities are not always available or guaranteed. Internships are subject to the availability and needs of our scientists. Most positions are unpaid.
