Environmental Conferences, Trainings & Workshops Hosted by DEQ
Periodically DEQ hosts conferences, trainings, and workshops on environmental topics to provide environmental professionals and other interested parties an opportunity to network and learn about air quality, water quality, and waste management issues of interest and concern.
Workshops
- Water Quality Workshop: January 31 - February 2, 2017, Boise: Since 1990, this workshop has provided a forum for the dissemination and discussion of water quality methods, results and applications. The focus is technical, with ample opportunity for professional networking and information sharing.
Trainings
- ABC Exam Review Wastewater Treatment Operator OIT and Class I Training: February 22-23, 2017, Lewiston: This two-day training will introduce the core competencies required to successfully pass the State of Idaho’s Wastewater Treatment Operators Certification Exam for OIT and Level I.
Conference
- Water Reuse Conference: May 17-18, 2017, Boise: This annual conference enables water and wastewater operators, engineers, public works directors, elected officials, consultants, developers, attorneys, environmental advocates, and other professionals to continue their education, network, and discuss key issues related to water reuse in Idaho and the West.
