I am a Native American and also model, spokeswoman and artist. I have shared many videos depicting our tribes, espiecally the Pine Ridge Oglala Tribe of SD. and am requesting financial help for new homes for Pine Ridge SD and 9 districts and also Crow Creek as this is my tribe. My sons tribe is Pine Ridge and we have tried to live there to no avail and politics has moved many natives out of our town in Rapid City,SD and so people like I have tried to move to reservations giving up. I was living in my car with three kids cooking over a pit with most nieghbors and starving. I came back to town and am now in a home with my children that is in need a great repair and I am having time to dispute issues that I have need to help my people with permanent homes not a flop house to send them back to the street to be homeless so that the agency beneifits but so that the homeless are not homeless anymore. Also I was raped and beaton by my adopted family and all these years no one would help me since I was four and later 15 I had contacte agencies to help but they ignored and sent me away now after I resorted to giving up I drank and had a hard life. I sobered up at 27 and am christian born again. I am also sweating in lodge to learn of my culture that was torn from me and so as a woman of 46 I again plead for your help in either matters before I die with no resolution! I am disabled PST from the adopted parents etc. I am on ssi. http://blip.tv/paul-l-meisel-photography/junal-s-story-1032780 *This is a story i have written on my facebook...A friend said this is the same as my story and I read it to be true and also I lost three of my first children, tosha Gerlach, Sierra Gerlach and Sky Gerlach to the adopted family that fought in court against me the brother raped me and my sister and one day he said he was going to come back to help me. But his wife couldnt have children and he lost his baby to the system so he wanted my son a two week old baby and him and his wife did everything they could to make me not get my children back. He has since raped my son and his wife occasionally turns me in to DSS saying that my other children were promised to her...I think she is jealous becouse my adopted brother was spitefull and wanted me and my kids and when he was drunk he would try to kiss me in front of his wife and cry for me...so I was always in fear of that family and worry for my children that stay with him and one grandson that is there. I guess they just watch there back...I am told. They joke around about it. My son is confused on his sexuality he was raped by him and in the same bed as his wife and told me and my kids in details...its horrific how the state and city protects there mistakes but not natives in the state! https://www.facebook.com/LakotaPeoplesLawProject I dont want to be brushed off I want something done for I and my kids and my siblings that never got to know me.
