The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has identified approximately 400 extremely hazardous substances that pose a risk to those who might come into contact with the materials. The reports in this collection review and interpret toxicologic and other scientific data in order to develop acute exposure guideline levels (AEGLs) for these high-priority, acutely toxic chemicals.
