Laboratory Analysis of Drinking Water Samples

DEQ contracts with the Idaho Bureau of Laboratories (IBOL) to certify drinking water laboratories for testing of drinking water from public water systems. The Idaho Bureau of Laboratories is the certifying authority for Idaho. IBOL certifies laboratories for microbiological, organic chemistry, and inorganic chemistry analytes and methods. Idaho's Rules Governing Certification of Idaho Water Quality Laboratories (IDAPA 16.02.13) require laboratories to report public drinking water results in a format specified by DEQ.
