House Committee on Ways and Means Internship Program

Thank you for your interest in the internship program with the Majority Staff of the House Committee on Ways and Means. We are currently seeking dependable and professional individuals with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

The Committee is responsible for tax, heath, trade, social security, welfare and other important issues. An internship with the Committee provides students with the unique opportunity to experience first-hand the operations of this key congressional committee and observe the legislative process in motion.

As an intern with the Committee on Ways and Means, you will assist staff in research assignments within the Committee’s jurisdiction, hearing preparation, answering the phones, administrative support, and special projects. Much of the work you will do is actual work performed on a daily basis by other members of the Committee staff.

Full and part-time positions are available throughout the year. Undergraduate and graduate students are encouraged to apply. Internships during the school year last a full semester.

Please complete and return the application, along with your resume, to the email address listed below.
