Spokane VA health care providers are closely monitoring state and local news reports of confirmed flu cases. To help reduce further outbreaks, Spokane VAMC is announcing an increased effort to provide flu shots. Free flu-shot clinics will be held in the lobby of the Spokane VA Medical Center on January 15th (8:00am-Noon) and again January 22nd (11:00am-3:00pm) for Veterans, VA volunteers and employees. The Spokane Veterans Affairs Medical Center’s new $2.5-M Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology Clinic is now open, providing quality hearing health care and speech services to Veterans. The VAMC Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology Clinic (Bldg-41) is no longer in the basement of the medical center, but now inside a state-of-the-art 7,200sq.foot facility that lies between the Physical Therapy and Eye Clinic buildings on the south side of the campus.
