VA Northern Indiana Health Care System (VANIHCS) currently has 54 fulltime staff providers, of those, 80 percent are board certified. All VANIHCS providers are board eligible, which means full training has been completed. While most providers achieve board certification it is not a requirement.

VA Northern Indiana Healthcare System has re-opened the Acute Care Unit FORT WAYNE, IN---We are pleased to announce that our phased restart is underway. On Monday, December 3, 2012, VANIHCS, Fort Wayne campus re-opened the Acute Care Unit (ACU). The ACU will begin with chemotherapeutic infusions with integration of greater complex patients as our phased re-start continues.
