NCR-SARE Leadership and Policy
North Central Region SARE is managed and led by our regional Administrative Council, State Coordinators, regional Technical and review committees, and staff.
- Regional Administrative Council (AC), representing various agricultural sectors, states, and organizations. The Administrative Council sets program priorities and makes granting decisions.
- Professional Development Program (PDP) State Coordinators represent land-grant institutions in the North Central region. PDP Coordinators direct sustainable agriculture education in their respective states. If you need help with any related issue please contact your State Representative for assistance.
- Regional Technical Committee (TC) and Review Committees, also comprised of various agricultural stakeholders. The Technical Committee and other Review Committees review proposals and make recommendations to the Administrative Council.
- Staff, primarily housed at the University of Minnesota, carries out Administrative Council directives, collecting and distributing SARE information on sustainable agriculture. Staff are also located at Lincoln University and the University of Missouri.
