Arizona National Scenic Trail
The Arizona Trail is an 820 mile non-motorized trail that traverses the State of Arizona from Mexico to Utah. The Arizona Trail is intended to be a primitive, long distance trail that highlights the state's topographic, biologic, historic and cultural diversity. The trail's primary users are hikers, equestrians and mountain bicyclists (outside of wilderness or other specially managed areas). Opportunities also exist for cross-country skiers, snowshoers, joggers and pack stock users. The trail is now 100% complete. BLM manages 45 miles: Buckskin Mountain, Gila River Canyons, and Tortilla Mountain passages.
