Day Use Fees
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Center Hill Lake charges a day use fee at selected areas. The recreation areas on Center Hill Lake charging these fees are Floating Mill, Hurricane Bridge, and Ragland Bottom. These areas offer some or all of the following: playgrounds, boat launching ramps, bathrooms, picnic sites and picnic shelters. The day-use fees are $5.00.
America the Beautiful pass holders can enter these recreation areas for free as long as their pass is properly displayed in a hang tag.
A paid camping permit from a Corps operated campground will entitle the holder to use any designated day use facility without paying the day user fee on the day for which the camping permit is valid.
Annual Passes
Corps of Engineers Day Use Annual Passes are available for sale year round at the Center Hill Resource Management Office. Annual Passes cost $40.00. The Corps of Engineers both honor and sell the America The Beautiful Pass for access into day use areas.
The Interagency Annual Pass is available for $80 and provides entrance to more than 2,000 recreation fee areas from the date of issue. This pass is accepted by the Bureau of Land Management, Bureau of Reclamation, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, USDA Forest Service, National Park Service, and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
The Senior Pass is available through the America the Beautiful program for $10 and is valid for lifetime to U.S. citizens or permanent residents who are 62 or older. It allows entrance to the five federal agencies recreation areas as well as a half priced site at a U.S. Army Corps of Engineer campground.
The Access pass through USGS America the Beautiful program is available free of charge for applicants who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents of any age that have been medically determined to have a permanent disability.
Military Annual pass is offered to current U.S. military members and dependents for free.
Every Kid in a Park Pass is an annual pass available free of charge with a paper voucher from the Every Kid in a Park website. Every Kid in the Park Pass covers entrance fees to recreation areas.
