Montana-Dakotas Oil and Gas Lease Sales
As required by law, the BLM Montana/Dakotas conducts four Competitive Oil and Gas Lease Sales per year. The sales are rotated among the Districts and Field Offices based on Expressions of Interest and workload capacity.
The BLM now conducts lease sales online via www.energynet.com. Please refer to each sale notice for more information on how to register, bid and spectate at online oil and gas auctions.
