The Office of Congressional and Public Affairs is dedicated to helping journalists and the general public understand the mission and activities of the National Labor Relations Board. The National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) has counted millions of votes, investigated hundreds of thousands of unfair labor practice charges, and issued thousands of decisions. The numbers tell an important part of the Agency’s story. Making what we do accessible to the public is an important part of the NLRB’s mission. In this section, you will find charts and tables that reflect the Agency’s work, and downloadable data for your own analysis.

Request a Speaker

The NLRB's Outreach and Public Information Programs help to educate the citizens we serve and provide needed services to those who rely upon the NLRB to enforce the statute. To do this, the NLRB maintains a centralized Speakers' Bureau to handle requests for NLRB representatives to make presentations that explain what we do.

NLRB representatives may be available at no cost to speak at and participate in meetings, conferences and seminars with a variety of organizations, including but not limited to:

Brochures

Our brochures provide basic information on the NLRB and how it works.

Foreign Language Publications

Other than Spanish, selected NLRB publications have been translated into several languages as part of the NLRB's compliance with Executive Order 13166, "Improving Access to Services for Persons with Limited English Proficiency."

FOIA

The Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. Sec. 552, requires federal agencies to disclose records after receiving a written request for them, except for records protected from disclosure by certain provisions of the FOIA.  This site is designed to familiarize you with the specific procedures for making a FOIA request to the National Labor Relations Board.  The site also includes descriptions of the types of records maintained by the NLRB, and directly links to a number of records available over the Internet.

NLRB Mobile Apps

The NLRB currently offers the NLRB Guide, a mobile app that provides employers, employees and unions with information regarding their rights and obligations under the National Labor Relations Act.
