Gregg Brinegar
Assistant Vice Chief of Naval Research

Gregg Brinegar is currently assigned under the Intergovernmental Personnel Act (IPA) Mobility Program as the assistant vice chief of naval research at the Office of Naval Research (ONR) in Arlington, Va. He provides full-time support to the vice chief of naval research in exercising his duties and responsibilities.

He assists the vice chief in supporting the chief of naval research's execution of the naval science and technology (S&T) program, and conducts technical and programmatic reviews of Marine Corps S&T programs under the Office of Naval Research cognizance. Brinegar represents the vice chief in numerous internal and external forums and ensures the flow of critical information between the ONR and the senior leadership of the Marine Corps.
