General Information

The Information Resource Center (IRC) at the U.S. Consulate in Shenyang is one of the largest collections of information about the United States in all of Northeastern China.  It specializes in providing information on American politics, economics, and social and cultural life. The IRC is open to the public on Wednesdays from 2:00 – 4:00pm, and Thursdays from 4:00 – 5:00pm. No appointments during those times are necessary. However, if you will be coming in a group of five or more people, we ask that you please inform us in advance by emailing ShenyangPA@state.gov or calling (024) 2322-2976 (or sending us a fax at (024) 2322-1505). For all visitors, please present your identification card or passport at the main entrance to the Consulate for entry.

The IRC is closed on American and Chinese Holidays.
