This program will build upon lessons learned from MYVP grants originally funded in FY 2014 and will identify innovative approaches to significantly reduce the prevalence and impact of youth violence among racial and ethnic minority and/or disadvantaged at-risk youth.
This January 26 episode of KSOC-TV will explore the intersecting identities of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning, intersex, or two-spirit (LGBTQI2-S) youth of color, the unique challenges these youth may face, including increased risk of trauma and suicide, and their capacity for resilience.
This anticipated program will provide funds to states and tribes to develop and implement an integrated and seamless network of supportive services for expectant and parenting teens, women, fathers, and their families in multiple primary settings, including high schools, community service centers, and institutions of higher education.
