If you do not receive an automatic reply after emailing your documents, we have not received them. Please send them from a different e-mail address. Emails from 163.com and 126.com are often caught in our spam filters. Delays in receiving your documents will delay your visa application.
Administrative Processing Status Check
You can check the status of your application using the CEAC tracker. Please allow at least one week after administrative processing is complete for your passport to be returned to CITIC bank.
Administrative Processing
Some visa applications require further additional administrative processing after your visa interview, which takes additional time after the visa applicant's interview by a Consular Officer. Applicants are advised of this requirement when they apply. When administrative processing is required, the timing will vary based on individual circumstances of each case. Visa applicants are reminded to apply early for their visa, well in advance of the anticipated travel date. We strongly urge students and research scholars in particular to apply two months prior to the start of their program.

Bringing detailed documents to your interview can help speed up the administrative process, and can also help the interviewing officer more easily determine if your application does not require such processing.
