Project C.A.R.E. Summit 2016

The Sixth Annual Project CARE Summit invites World-renowned speakers and surgeons from Military Medicine as well our civilian counterparts to discuss advances in cutting edge Restorative, Reconstructive and Regenerative Medicine. The Summit also includes hands-on training for participants in both the simulation lab and the state-of-the-art cadaver lab here at the Naval Medical Center San Diego Hospital.

Military and Veteran Resiliency Medicine Summit 2016

Evidence supports the use of various self-care health practices and their positive effect on emotional and physical resilience. This training event is designed to highlight best practices, cutting-edge research and develop new skills in mind body medicine with a goal of improving integration of these disciplines into the care provided to our service members, veterans and their families.

DIABETES SYMPOSIUM 2015

Provide current evidence based review to primary care providers, specialty care providers, nurses, health technicians, LVNs and corpsmen on funda-mental concepts of diabetes mellitus presentation, diagnosis, management and prevention of compli-cations.
