The Transfer Center assists referring physicians with the transfer of eligible beneficiaries from civilian or military facilities to Naval Medical Center, San Diego (NMCSD). To initiate a patient transfer, referring providers from civilian or military facilities should call 619-532-NAVY (6289). A trained Transfer Center technician will coordinate transfer by facilitating contact between transferring and accepting providers. It is in operation 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. |
