Climate and Atmospheric Research

Conducting climate research focused on issues of national and global importance is one of the primary objectives of the Atmospheric Turbulence and Diffusion Division (ATDD)—a field division of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. ORAU partners with ATDD—and in collaboration with scientists and engineers from Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) as well as government agencies, universities, and private research institutions—to conduct research related to air quality, climate, and dispersion.
