COVID-19 - Impact on the NeuroBioBank
As you are all aware, the COVID-19 pandemic is impacting many academic and medical institutions across the country. As a result, the NeuroBioBank is experiencing disruptions to tissue recoveries from potential donors as well as in the distributions of approved specimen requests. Investigators with submitted applications should anticipate delays in shipments. Please send your questions or comments regarding potential delays to the NeuroBioBank (neurobiobank@mail.nih.gov). We thank everyone for their continued understanding during this challenging period.
Since 2013, the NIH NeuroBioBank has catalyzed scientific discovery through the centralization of resources aimed at the collection and distribution of human post-mortem brain tissue.
Our networked brain and tissue repositories distribute thousands of samples per year to the research community studying neurological, developmental, and psychiatric disorders.
