Have AGC help you spatially-enable your Army enterprise

The U.S. Army Geospatial Center provides systems engineering, architecture development, and geospatial domain support to Program Executive Officers, Program Managers, Product Managers, and other members of the Army Acquisition Community, ensuring a seamless integration of geospatial information and services technologies into all of the Army’s warfighting functions, whether they be intelligence, planning, command and control, fires, maneuver, logistics, etc. The AGC works with PMs and PEOs to achieve the most effective and cost-efficient implementations of their geospatial requirements, consistent with the Army Geospatial Enterprise (AGE).

The center’s programs and expertise are helping to build the standardized, shareable, geospatial foundation required to generate the common operating picture that Soldiers need to plan contingency, crisis response, and humanitarian missions here and abroad. The AGC’s acquisition support capabilities reduce the cost of collecting, processing, exploiting and disseminating geospatial information - improving efficiency and boosting effectiveness - giving our Soldiers, Marines, Sailors, Airmen, and special operators a decisive advantage over our adversaries. The AGC is defining a common architecture and standardized geospatial information and services to bring from information providers such as NGA through the various echelons down to the soldier at the tactical edge and has developed an Army Geospatial Data Model to a common framework for geospatial concepts across the AGE and to other services.
