Accessibility Statement
The Partnership on Employment and Accessible Technology (PEAT) is committed to providing an accessible site for all users, and strives to provide accessible information to all users, including people using assistive technology. Our site has been designed to meet the Web Content Accessiblity Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.0 at Level Double-A and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended.
Pages have been designed to work with the built-in text resizing features of your browser. In addition, you can find a text size control panel at the top of each page. This control panel allows you to adjust the font size to your liking. Other content formats
In some cases, we provide content in formats other than a basic webpage. Examples include PDF and Microsoft Office formats such as Word, Excel or PowerPoint. Testing and Feedback
The PEAT website has been tested extensively for usability and accessibility with end users using a variety of assistive and browser technologies. We review the site regularly to ensure continual adherence to accessibility standards and best practices, and we strive to continually improve the accessibility of the site. WCAG 2.0 Level AA Conformance Statement
On October 15, 2014, all web pages at www.peatworks.org conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.0 at Level Double-A. The specifications that this content “relies upon” are XHTML 1.0. The technologies that this content “uses but does not rely upon” are: HTML5, WAI-ARIA 1.0, JavaScript, CSS, PDF, SVG, GIF, PNG and JPEG. Content was tested using a variety of user agents and assistive technologies.
