Acquisition Gateway The Acquisition Gateway, built by GSA, helps federal government buyers from all agencies act as one acquisition community. Our goal is to help make government acquisition great.

Billing and Accounts Receivable (BAAR) Project GSA is modernizing its core financial management system through the Billing and Accounts Receivable (BAAR) Project. Central to the BAAR Project is the three-phased release of the Vendor and Customer Self Service (VCSS) website. Once it is fully deployed, VCSS will provide GSA customers with online access to their bills, statements and billing data, and paper bills and File Transfer Protocol (FTP) files will be phased out.

Category Management Category management is an approach the federal government is applying to buy smarter and more like a single enterprise.

Cybersecurity Improving federal cybersecurity is a key initiative of the Administration and an integral part of the mission for all federal agencies. GSA plays a strong leadership role in providing innovative cybersecurity products, services, and programs to our customers.

Emergency Response We provide resources to help you be prepared in an emergency, including information on hotlines; getting supplies, equipment, and services; evacuation; travel; and facilities management.

FedRAMP We lead efforts to launch, maintain, and manage the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program by providing technical expertise, coordinating efforts across government, and staffing the FedRAMP program management office.

Greening Federal Buildings GSA, the government’s largest civilian landlord, leads the way in green building design, construction, retrofit and sustainable operations and maintenance. Through its commitment to sustainable design, GSA pledges to serve as a forward thinking and responsible steward of our nation’s economic and natural resources.

Presidential Transition To promote the orderly transfer of power between presidential administrations, we provide the president-elect and the vice president-elect with the services and facilities to assume their official duties.

Safer Schools, Safer Communities Under GSA’s Cooperative Purchasing Program, state and local governments – including public schools and institutions of higher education – can purchase safety and security-related products and services under the same terms and conditions as federal agencies. By using GSA's pre-negotiated Schedule contracts, local officials can save time and reduce costs.

School Support We offer educational institutions the opportunity to use several purchasing and donation programs to support their everyday and disaster recovery needs. These include: Cooperative Purchasing, Disaster Purchasing, Computers for Learning, Personal Surplus Property Donation Program and the Safer Schools initiative.
