2014 Best Papers

Congratulations to the 2014 NOAA Fisheries best paper award recipients: Jay Barlow, Samantha Brooke, and Karin Forney.  Karin Forney and Jay Barlow  received the honor for their contributions to the Fishery Bulletin publication on the "Effects of fluctuations in sea-surface temperature on the occurrence of small cetaceans off  Southern California".  Samantha Brooke received the award for her review of "Federal Fisheries Observer Programs in the United States: over 40 years of independent data collection" in Marine Fisheries Review.  Fishery Bulletin and Marine Fisheries Review , are NOAA Fisheries' government-issued scientific journals.  Click on either of the above links to access current or previous issues.
