SUBJECT:   Delegations of Authority to Make Decisions on Appeals under the Freedom of Information Act and the Privacy Act
 
CANCELLATION DATE:  April 7, 2014
 
REASON FOR CANCELLATION:  Treasury Directive (TD) 12-53, dated August 4, 2008, is both unnecessary and inconsistent with current practice, which the Senior Advisor to the Assistant Secretary for Management (ASM) decides all FOIA/PA appeals involving OASM records. TD 12-53 is cancelled.
