Today, the PMF Program announced the finalists from the class of 2017. Applicants have been notified of how to check their status, and a complete list of finalists is available at PMF.gov. Selection of finalists is based on eligibility and completed application, assessment scores, and workforce planning estimates provided by Federal agencies. Today, OPM launched the CyberCareers.gov website. The CyberCareers.gov website is a critical piece of the Federal Cybersecurity Workforce Strategy that was published in July 2016.

In January 2017, most Federal employees in the Washington, DC, metropolitan area will have two holidays during the week of Inauguration: Birthday of Martin Luther King, Jr. (Monday, January 16), and Inauguration Day (Friday, January 20).

OPM has announced that it has extended the opportunity to make FEDVIP dental and vision enrollments/changes/cancellations until midnight on Wednesday, December 14, 2016. This extension is only for the Federal Employees Dental and Vision Insurance Program. Open Season for FEHB and FSAFEDS has not been extended and ends at midnight today, Monday, December 12, 2016.
