      Hi. (Not sure if this is where to ask this, so sorry if its not. Just looking for some extra advice). My family and I will be PCS-ing to NAS JRB in mid December. This is our first PCS move ever. We are really wanting to get a house on base. Does anyone else live on base? If so, how do you like it? Also, does anyone know how long the "waiting list" for housing usually is? We are currently in Wichita Falls TX (which is 2 & 1/2 hours away). I was wondering if anyone knew of something about PCS-ing families being able to come look at the houses before the actual day of the move? Also, if anyone has any extra information about housing we would greatly appreciate it! Thanks so much!

      The Captains Cup Golf Tournament is being held on Monday 1 October at the Marriot located by Texas Motor Speedway. This is going to be an Awesome event and all the proceeds will go towards the Navy Ball! We also have two teams consisting of former NFL players, who agreed to play, meet and socialize with active duty Sailors.
