The annual population and housing unit estimates are released on a flow basis throughout the year, beginning with the national and state total estimates release in December and ending with the release of population estimates for the nation, states, and counties by demographic characteristics during the following summer.

The schedule detailed below refers to the release of our Vintage 2019 and Vintage 2021 estimates. Our 2010 to 2020 Intercensal Estimates will also be released during 2021 (schedule TBD). For more information on the intercensal estimates, please see 2000-2010 Methodology Statement.
