A Free Online Course for Housing Counselors

The National Consumer Law Center (NCLC) and the National Housing Resource Center (NHRC) developed a free two-part webinar training to help counselors learn about the National Mortgage Settlement (NMS) and how the agreement's servicing standards will help them in their daily work. A free workbook will accompany the webinar. Counselors will also learn about a new easy-to-use ONLINE CHECKLIST that will aid counselors in recognizing, documenting, and reporting violations of the settlement's servicing standards. 

 The National Mortgage Settlement Checklist is a joint project of the National Consumer Law Center and the National Housing Resource Center.
