President's FY 2017 Budget Request

On February 9, the White House Office of Management and Budget released the President's Budget Request for FY 2017, which totals approximately $5.8 billion for NOAA and supports investments in: (1) community resilience, (2) evolving the National Weather Service, (3) observational infrastructure, and (4) organizational excellence.  NOAA requests a total of $520 million to support the continued and enhanced operations of OAR, an increase of $30.7 million above the FY 2016 enacted.  You can find more detailed information in the NOAA FY 2017 Blue Book.
