These publications contain all the astronomical data needed for practicing celestial navigation on the sea and in the air, respectively.
Our data service, Celestial Navigation Data for Assumed Position and Time, allows you to obtain all the astronomical information necessary to plot navigational lines of position from observations of the altitudes of celestial bodies.
The Maritime Safety Information Center maintained by The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) also provides information for use in celestial navigation. This includes publications such as:
