NOAALink’s principle purpose is to improve IT acquisition practices across NOAA. NOAALink aims to establish enterprise-wide solutions, standardize common IT products and services, and leverage purchasing power. In doing so, NOAALink strives to recognize the most significant cost advantages possible.

Processing IT requirements for every line and staff office across the organization, gives us valuable insight, and provides an ideal opportunity to align IT investments. The NOAALink team closely assesses each and every requirement, and makes thoughtful recommendations that best serve your IT needs. Additionally, here is a list of procurement professionals (last updated June 7^th, 2013) who hold NOAALink Procurement Authority.  The authority allows the individuals to process NOAALink actions in accordance with the NOAALink Procurement Process Guide.
