FECConnect Regional

Each year, the Federal Election Commission sponsors two-day, regional conferences where Commissioners and staff conduct a variety of technical workshops on the law. Discussion topics include fundraising, reporting and communications. Workshops are designed for those seeking an introduction to the basic provisions of the law as well as for those more experienced in campaign finance law. For questions about the conference program, call the FEC's Information Division at 1-800/424-9530 (or locally, 202/694-1100) or send an email to Conferences@fec.gov (include your name, contact information and track of interest (candidate, party, nonconnected or corporate/labor/trade PAC)). We have completed our 2015-2016 Regional Conference series, having visited Chicago, San Diego and Orlando.

 

We expect to announce our 2017-2018 Regional Conference schedule later this year, so stay tuned!

FECConnect Live

The FEC conducts webinars and online roundtable workshops for the regulated community. The day-long webinars provide an overview of the rules for candidates, parties and PACs, and the roundtables typically focus on specific topics that range from election year communications to reporting.

All of these webinars and roundtable sessions are available online only. You can participate right at your desk, and avoid the time and expense of traveling to DC. Online materials and technical information will be provided to those who register.

Registration is accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Prepayment is required. Please call or email Sylvester Management Corporation before registering to ensure there is still space in the session. To sign up for a session either fill out the online or downloadable registration form available below. If using the downloadable form, email (Rosalyn@sylvestermanagement.com) or fax (1-803/732-0135) it to Sylvester Management Corporation. (The form is also available from Faxline, the FEC's automated fax system. Call 202/501-3413 and request document 590.) If a workshop sells out, Sylvester Management Corporation will maintain a waiting list in the event there are cancellations.
