Joseph Zadrozny, Consul General

Mr. Joseph Zadrozny

Mr. Joseph Zadrozny arrived in Wuhan to serve as Consul General in September, 2014.  This is Mr. Zadrozny’s fourth posting in China; he previously served at the United States Consulates General in both Shanghai and Shenyang and the United States Embassy in Beijing.  His other diplomatic tours include Uzbekistan, Germany, and most recently in Mongolia.  Before joining the Foreign Service, Mr. Zadrozny was as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Choibalsan in the far eastern part of Mongolia and also worked with the US Peace Corps as a staff member in the Solomon Islands and at headquarters in Washington, DC.  Mr. Zadrozny has a bachelor’s degree in international relations from the University of Notre Dame.  Consul General Zadrozny speaks Mandarin and French.  He hails from the state of Texas and calls Hawaii his second home.  Mr. Zadrozny is accompanied to Wuhan by his wife and two daughters.
