Atlantic Shark Stock Assessments
SouthEast Data, Assessment, and Review (SEDAR) is a cooperative Fishery Management Council process initiated in 2002 to improve the quality and reliability of fishery stock assessments in the South Atlantic, Gulf of Mexico, and US Caribbean. The SEDAR HMS Advisory Panel reviews and/or provides data and analyses and advises NOAA Fisheries on scientific information, including data and models used in stock assessments for sharks in the Atlantic Ocean, Gulf of Mexico, and Caribbean Sea.
