Pro-Tech
The ProTech services solution is intended to be a suite of multiple-award Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts organized into five Domains based on the organizational structure of the bureau. These Domains are: Satellite, Fisheries, Ocean, Weather, and Enterprise Operations.
ProTech is intended to fulfill NOAA’s Line and Staff Office requirements for professional and technical services (other than Information Technology) in support of NOAA’s varied, complex and vital mission. (For InformationTechnology requirements please see the AGO NOAALink web page.) Where applicable, ProTech contracts can also be used by other Bureaus within the Department of Commerce (DOC).
Each Domain will have its own IDIQ contract with multiple awards. There will be separate solicitations per Domain. Offerors will be permitted to propose in multiple Domains.
Period of Performance:
The period of performance per Domain is a two (2) year base period and three (3) one-year option periods for a total period of performance of five (5) years if all options are exercised. Once the IDIQs are awarded, task orders will be issued and awarded in accordance with FAR 16.505 procedures.
Approved Acquisition Strategy:
Full and Open Competition with reserves for small business in accordance with section 1331 of the U.S. Jobs Act. Each domain has been assigned a NAICS code for determining status as a small business.

Current Status and News:
Final Solicitation ST-1330-16-RP-0103 for ProTech services in support of the Satellite Domain (ProTech-Satellite) was released June 29, 2016. Proposals were received August 8, 2016, and are currently being evaluated.
Final RFPs for other NOAA Domains will be released on a staggered time line, either individually or in combination of two or more. It is anticipated that Fisheries (ProTech-Fisheries) and Enterprise Operations (ProTech-Enterprise Ops) will be the next two Domains to be released.
An Industry Day for ProTech Fisheries was held December 2, 2016.
An Industry Day for ProTech Enterprise Operations is planned for January 11, 2017.
