The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children® provides services, resources and technical assistance to child victims of abduction and sexual exploitation, their families and the professionals who serve them. NCMEC provides the most comprehensive resources regarding missing children, child sexual exploitation, child safety and prevention, law enforcement training and victim and family support. NCMEC is prepared 24 hours a day to assist families and law enforcement agencies with missing child cases. Each case brings its own set of unique challenges, which NCMEC is prepared to help meet.

NCMEC operates the CyberTipline, Child Victim Identification Program, Sex Offender Tracking Team and Child Sex Trafficking Team to help law enforcement and the private sector reduce the proliferation of child pornography and prevent child victimization.

NCMEC provides child safety and prevention resources for families and professionals.

NCMEC offers training opportunities to law enforcement across the country. NCMEC provides law enforcement with the skills needed to respond to missing and sexually exploited children cases and prevent infant abductions.

NCMEC provides support services to victims and families coping with the traumatic experiences of abduction and sexual exploitation. Services are administered by master-level trained mental health and child welfare professionals.
