Finding and Working with a Lender

Before you refinance, you’ll want to do your homework and select a lender that offers the most competitive rates and terms. The more you shop around, the more confident you’ll be with your selection.

If your loan is owned by Freddie Mac, you have two options for refinancing through HARP.  You can either work with your existing lender (if they participate in the program) or with a different lender that participates in the program.
