Master Plan Updates

The 2016 Master Plan updates for Lake Shelbyville, Carlyle Lake and the Kaskaskia River Project will incorporate a Watershed Approach among the three St. Louis District projects located on the Kaskaskia River. All three project Master Plans are being updated in FY 16 and will include a common approach to addressing issues.

Lake Shelbyville
   
The Lake Shelbyville Master Plan update process began in fall of 2015 with the first public meeting on November 17, 2015. A draft update will be produced and is expected to be available for comment and review by late April 2016. After a 30 day comment period, the final draft will be completed with approval anticipated near the end of the September 2016. View this Master Plan Update
 
Carlyle Lake
   
The Carlyle Lake Master Plan update process will begin in fall of 2015 with the first public meeting on December 3, 2015. A series of meetings throughout the watershed will continue through January 14th. A draft update will be produced and is expected to be available for comment and review by late August 2016. After a 30 day comment period, the final draft will be completed with approval anticipated near the end of the calendar year 2016. View this Master Plan Update
 
Kaskaskia River Project
   
The Kaskaskia River Project Master Plan update process will begin in fall of 2015 with the first public meeting on January 12, 2015. A series of meetings throughout the watershed will continue through January 14, 2016. A draft update will be produced and is expected to be available for comment and review by late July 2016. After a 30 day comment period, the final draft will be completed with approval anticipated near the end of the calendar year 2016. View this Master Plan
