  • I became disabled in 2010 with Psychotic Depression ...improvement n...ot expected. I was on antipsychotics and was required by SS to have a payee for the next 5yrs. I was then taken off the antipsychotics in March 2015 and after 5mos I began to awaken and was able to read my payee statement for the first time. $215 was missing from my check each month. I still wasn't 100% so it took me awhile to figure out that it was a Dept of Ed offset and had been taken monthly since May 2013. I eventually was approved for a disability discharge, but I lost $6,750.75 that I was eligible to have discharged. I sued Wyoming Guardianship Corp for not telling me I was not receiving the amount stated in their initial SS letter and my case manager could help me take care of the problem. I was told by the payee that "It's not my job" and I was told by the Judge that WG did nothing wrong and it was only speculation that I would have gotten a discharge had I known <I did not sue until I had already received the discharge> See More
  • The IRS is misleading the American Public on their website it says ..."IRS to Contract with Four Agencies; Taxpayer Rights Protected and Employees of these collection agencies must follow the provisions of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act", What the IRS fails to inform the Tax payer and the American public on their website is that these collection companies don't have to follow the TCPA "because of the 2015 Budget Act exemption" and they don't have to follow the FDCPA because these collection companies are first party collectors. This should be against the law!! See More
